Kate Watch - Day 5
I'm so jealous because Their Royal Gorgeousness are in the only place on earth I want to visit before I die! Prince Edward Island - the home of Anne shirley. (Anne of Green Gables for those of you who obviously should know better). I know Kate was excited for the same reason which just makes me love her more.
The other thing I love about Day 5 of The Tour is this glimpse we get of Kate and Will's genuine love for each other... so nice to see Royals actually showing affection in public.
She and Will took part in a Dragon Race, competing against each other and by the looks of it they had a ball.
And like any of us - she carried her own camera around, wanting to document her trip herself.

Kate Watch - Day 4
So what is your favourite outfit of the Royal Tour so far? As far as I am concerned she is yet to put a foot wrong and I'm finding it hard to pick just one.

Kate Watch
They're off!
Kate and Will have begun their first Royal tour. Tonight, (our time) the couple left to begin their visit in the Commonwealth's largest realm - Canada.
The 11-day tour will take them to Montreal, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Yellowknife and Calgary before they move on to California.

Kate Watch
William and Kate have taken part in their first joint military ceremony when they presented Afghanistan campaign medals to members of the Irish Guards. They celebrated the third Armed Forces Day with soldiers who had recently returned from fighting in Afghanistan, and their families at Windsor Castle.
Kate and Will are both looking particularly fine. Will looks more handsome than he has in ages in that uniform. Wish he'd worn it to the wedding. I love these photos of Kate - she is at her most enchanting when she's genuinely excited.

They've Been Busy - More P.K.
Check out Prince William and Prince Harry during the Sentebale Polo Cup yesterday! Hot yes?
Today the Royals batted up to celebrate Prince Phillips 90th birthday!! Can you believe it? Funny that here in Australia we are celebrating the Queen's birthdday and it is actually poor Phillip who should get the day off.

Kate Watch
In her first public outing as a married lady, Princess Kate looked absolutely stunning in a Jenny Packham gown at a fundraiser for 'Absolute Return for Kids' on Thursday night. The full length beige pink gown looks amazing and Kate looks radiant.
Prior to this Kate attended the Epsom Derby with her new family and again delighted us with her style.
Those brothers are looking fairly spiffy too I must say.

What's The Duchess Up to?
It is the first time Kate has been out and about in public since she and William departed for a weekend break on Saturday, the day after marrying at Westminster Abbey, and look where she is - the supermarket! Love it. Will is back at work and it looks like Kate is doing what we all do and popping out for some dinner stuff.

Two Cakes For The Windsors
There were two amazing cakes at Will and Kate's wedding and while I quite frankly hate cooking, I love eating and I particularly like eating cake, and even more particularly cake that is pretty! Just one more reason I wish I had been invited.
The groom's cake was based on a recipe featuring digestive biscuits that William enjoyed as a child.
As for the more formal of the two, the fruit cake was conceived by Kate and features an English floral theme, with each of the 17 frosting flowers representing a special quality of the marriage.
• White rose—national symbol of England
• Daffodil—national symbol of Wales, new beginnings
• Shamrock—national symbol of Ireland
• Thistle—national symbol of Scotland
• Acorns, Oak Leaf—strength, endurance
• Myrtle—love
• Ivy—wedded love, marriage
• Lily of the Valley—sweetness, humility
• Rose (Bridal)—happiness, love
• Sweet William (how cute is that)
• Honeysuckle—the bond of love
• Apple Blossom—preference, good fortune
• White Heather—protection, wishes will come true
• White Jasmine—amiability
• Daisy—innocence, beauty, simplicity
• Orange Blossom—marriage, eternal love, fruitfulness
• Lavender—ardent attachment, devotion, success and luck
This cake is an absolute work of art and I love the thought and love that was put into the designing and choosing of both these cakes.
